This module will help trainee educators to:
- explain the concepts, models and trends in SEN
- identify pupils with SEN
- enumerate the educational and behavioural needs of various categories of pupils with SEN
- demonstrate knowledge of instructional planning appropriate to pupils with SEN
- refer pupils with SEN to the relevant authorities
- show ethical consideration when dealing with pupils with SEN
