The aim of this module is to enable student develop an understanding of the principles, types and approaches to curriculum development and devise need-based instructional plans for students with various disabilities
Learning outcomes:
At the end of the module trainees would be able to:
• Demonstrate an understanding of the process of curriculum development.
• Design instructional plans according to specificity of curricular areas for learners with special needs
• Use appropriate instructional approaches, methods and techniques.
• Devise and organise individual learning activities and adapt curriculum using appropriate technology and strategies.
